– Proper symbols for minutes of arc, correction of apparent errors, and dropping of zero-valued minutes of precision. See also the ongoing closely related RMs at Talk:Al Mushayrifah (31°30'0"N 35°52'0"E)#Requested move 28 December 2023 and Talk:Hunawng (24°49"N 94°53"E)#Requested move 29 December 2023. This covers P through Z (for topics that contain quote marks only). Coordinates are refined by dropping zero minutes where used, since that seems like just an indication of unknown or excess precision, and by changing seconds to minutes where minutes are missing, since that seems like just a formatting error and does not seem to match article infobox content. —⁠ ⁠BarrelProof (talk) 17:23, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Some articles look like duplicates (but I did not double-check) and should be simply merged, rather than moved:
All those places disambiguated by coordinates in developing countries look highly suspicious, and probably deserve cleanup rather than maintenance. No such user (talk) 10:06, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, most of these are likely sourced originally from the zip files on the the original MIMU database. While this is government recognition to some extent, the database doesn't indicate if the villages are populated. We could assume so but I'm not really sure.

Nothing wrong with moving these to correct coordinate formatting for now, but if I started an AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Awthaw (25°16'0"N 95°'13"E) if you care to comment on it. I haven't gone through the database with each of these to check yet, but I also suggested a natural disambiguation based on village tract over at the first of these RMs (Talk:Al Mushayrifah (31°30'0"N 35°52'0"E)#Requested move 28 December 2023) EmeraldRange (talk/contribs) 21:34, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
