The result of the move request was: Create a disambiguation page with both entries. -- haminoon (talk) 00:47, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
– Because the primary page for Pangaimotu should be the heavily populated island rather than an unpopulated tourist island. Note that Pangaimotu was originally the article for the Vavaʻu island but was changed by an IP editor to the Tongatapu island in 2008. The article for the Vavaʻu island was then recreated in 2014. -- haminoon (talk) 08:38, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
- Support first, oppose second, create TWODABS - classic example of two minor locations were a dab is needed, flip-flopping is a truly bad idea. In ictu oculi (talk) 16:19, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose as proposed Move the first, but do not swap with the second, instead create a disambiguation page at the base title -- 70.51.46.39 (talk) 05:40, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
Merge for chrissake – it's the one same island. Checked with both Bing and Google maps, all searches lead to the same place, even our coords are the same. No such user (talk) 13:34, 2 March 2016 (UTC)- Hi No Such User, The co-ordinates for the Tongatapu article led to the Vavaʻu island. I have removed them now. I presume you know where Google gets its information? -- haminoon (talk) 20:12, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Scratch that: the Tongatapu one is at 21°07′27″S 175°09′32″W / 21.124183°S 175.158855°W and it's barely 300 m in diameter. Do we even have to have an article about it? Support In ictu oculi's proposal. No such user (talk) 21:54, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
