The cause of pancreatitis

Just saw a recent edit (by an IP user) which was undone. The current revision states "the cause of pancreatic pseudocyst can occur due to a variety of reasons." I don't believe this meaning is what was intended. 3 causes of pseudocysts are listed: pancreatitis, pancreatic trauma and pancreatic tumors. Each of those causes may occur due to a variety of reasons; pancreatitis may occur due to alcohol, gallstones, medications, etc. Pancraetic tumors may be associated with tobacco use, genetic disorders or environmental exposures, etc. However, this section is not about the cause of the causes, but rather the causes of pancreatic pseudocyst formation.

As such, I think the wording suggested by the IP user is more appropriate: "Pancreatic pseudocysts may occur due to a variety of causes" (or something similar to that). What are everyone's thoughts? Rytyho usa (talk) 02:30, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
