The DMC-FZ30 does produce very noisy pictures at high ISO settings. I've seen it myself. Please don't edit that comment out again. You've been reverted twice by two different editors; that's usually a sign that you need to think about what you're saying.

--Myk 21:37, 12 February 2006 (UTC) Although currently I don't have this cam, I plan to buy one, and I read lots of reviews and comments. Someone wrote that with proper (manual) settings it can do nice pix at higher ISO values too.[reply]

Yeah, carefully adjusted, you can get good photos at high ISOs. However, saying that it is notorious for grainy pictures at high ISOs is a valid statement. It's something to be aware of, that high ISO shooting needs to be done with care. --Myk 02:17, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can we get a photo or two of this camera?

[edit]

If there's anybody out there who has both this camera, and another decent digicam, can they please upload a photo of the FZ30? All I've got is a crappy one taken with my Treo's camera.--Myk 15:50, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why another digital camera? In any case, I'm wondering if we can just take Panasonic's stock promotional photography?; I'm not sure what the exact copyright policy is on that. Tejastheory 04:50, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Um, because it's difficult to take a good photo of a camera with itself? I mean, if someone has two FZ30s, then great, but I think that's unlikely. Many thanks to scaredpoet for the great pics! --Myk 02:26, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
