Need separate article on Carolina Algonkians
[edit]This article seems in many sections to be about the Algonkians as a whole, which probably needs a separate article. Tribes for which there is sufficient historical or archeological information can be treated separately; otherwise they should be noted in the general article. There seems to be little specific info here about the Pamlico, for instance.--Parkwells (talk) 20:26, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
- I concur completely...the article also lacks references and inline citations, and may be dubious. I don't doubt the tribe exisited, but the article may need to be removed (or treated as a paragraph under "Algonqian") unless someone can back up the info...Engr105th (talk) 06:30, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
- I agree..this is way off..the Pamlico were one relatively small tribe of Carolina Algonquians..someone redirected this incorrectly..most of the articles regarding the native people in this area are not well written and loaded with misinformation
