Cleanup
[edit]Dear Wikipedia Editors,
I am writing in response to the following comment that went up on the page for "Pamela Ronald":
"A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page. (March 2012)"
I am a research scientist working in the field of plant innate immunity for several years and have been managing the Pamela Ronald page. I sent the page to Professor Ronald for some feedback and if she wanted to edit anything. I believe she made some minor edits, which showed up as the alert highlighted above.
I would like to confirm that since the alert went up, I have re-visited the page and ensured that nothing has been altered other than typos and that the article maintains a neutral point of view.
I look forward to hearing from you to completely resolve this issue.
Best regards,

Cleanup for Pamela Ronald page
[edit]Dear Wikipedia Editors,
I am following up on the cleanup work a number of different editors have been doing for the Pamela Ronald page to ensure a neutral point of view. A number of different editors have voluntarily reviewed the page, verified references, double-checked content and contributed overall to the writing style and veracity of the page.
I would greatly appreciate if the close connection tag could be removed from the page. If there are still issues that the Wikipedia editors believe need to be addressed to ensure a neutral point of view, please do let us know and we will endeavor to address these immediately.
Looking forward to hearing from you and fully resolving this issue.
Best wishes,

I concur with Arslan daudi above that this biographical page is properly sourced, NPOV, and it has been almost a month since the COI tag was added. I suggest that the COI tag be removed. 128.104.238.191 (talk) 12:41, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

Additions
[edit]Dear Wikipedia Editors,
I have added some minor changes to the Pamela Ronald Wikipedia page, in the amount of adding an image of Dr. Ronald and her husband to the Public Engagement section, and an image of Dr. Ronald to the Career and Research section.
These edits have been made as part of an ongoing Wikipedia editing project as part of a college-level Genetics course.
I have enjoyed researching Dr. Ronald and working with my partner to add useful information to her Wikipedia page.
