I think the subject is notable enough to have an article
[edit]Just about all of the reliable sources that I have seen on this person are in reference to their siding with criminals instead of victims. Which, of course, is the exact opposite of what a district attorney is supposed to do. Other such criminal loving district attorneys in California, such as Chesa Boudin and George Gascón, have their own articles. Now that California has, for all practical purposes, decriminalized crime, I think Price is notable as one of the leaders in this movement, and is notable enough to have her own article.
I have added the following:
In March 2023, Price said she favored "non-carceral forms of accountability" for the gang members who killed an innocent bystander named Jasper Wu when they were having a shootout.[1]
In August 2023, Price arranged for a plea deal which would let the murderer of Lamar Converse out after as little as four years.[2]
In August 2023, family members and friends of crime victims filed the "intent to recall" paperwork to begin the legal process of trying to recall Price from office, as they believed that she was too soft on violent criminals.[3]
