[edit]I don't think the palmar carpal ligament is the same as the palmar intercarpal ligaments, but ultimately, I don't know. Moore's textbook says that the palmar carpal lig is officially unnamed, and that is just a thickening of the antebrachial fascia, while I think those intercarpal ligaments are different. - I think the intercarpal ligaments would be deep to the flexor retinaculum. In any case, the palmar carpal ligament is too proximal to be the same thing. I think it's safer to revert Arcadian's proposal. - Richardcavell 22:35, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- No objection. Thanks for the research. Though, since you have a copy of Moore's textbook which references the "palmar carpal ligament", if you could add a ref to this article, it would make it easier for us to keep it clear in the future. And maybe we should create a article for palmar intercarpal ligaments, since that seems to have a valid TA. --Arcadian 23:33, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- I've created a very stubby first draft of palmar intercarpal ligaments, just to help distinguish the topics. --Arcadian 23:43, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- I see you've added the ref -- thanks! --Arcadian 23:26, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
