Airport Logo
[edit]A user seems to have uploaded the logo for this airport and claims it was under fair use. It is clearly a complex graphic and as a pilot I might be biased but I was there yesterday and never, ever saw this logo on anything. The ploader User:AirportExpert was the uploader and was warned about the file by user @Stefan2:. I am not in any way a expert on fair use, but as a pilot and a pilot that was at this airport yesterday I never saw this logo during the three hours I was there. I have for now replaced the questionable graphic with a photo I took as we were landing. Cheers. --talk→ WPPilot 16:59, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- I utilize this airport frequently as well (as a passenger) but yes, as of this writing, there doesn't seem to be an official logo for the airport in marketing/branding sense. The airport's website still hitches off of the city pages (http://www.palmspringsca.gov/government/departments/aviation-palm-springs-international-airport-psp), although with a stylized font that clearly isn't indicative of an officially-used logo. A simple Google image search turned out this image (http://www.acconline.org/AM/Images/logos/PalmSprings.jpg) Ssredg (talk) 02:00, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
Sonny Bono Concourse photos
[edit]OK, there are a couple of photos that are erroneously captioned "Sonny Bono Concourse," but they are actually shots of the main terminal building, specifically the passenger loading platforms. Please correct, thanks. 208.87.237.201 (talk) 18:18, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
Errant captioned "Sonny Bono Concourse" photos, cont...
[edit]As stated above, Photos 3 & 4 are incorrectly captioned as Sonny Bono Concourse. The Bono concourse and gates are only accessible once going through TSA security, not from the airport entrance. Photo 3 is from the exterior of the south end ticketing counters (WestJet, Allegiant, Sun Country and JetBlue); while Photo 4 was taken curbside from just south of the main terminal entrance.
