Arabs and Jews

Are we saying that any descendant or resident is a "Palestinian", or only that Palestinian Arabs are Palestinians? The article should mention Palestinian Jews, since we do have an article an that group of people. --Uncle Ed (talk)

MOS:DAB non-conforming material

I have removed all material not in conformance with MOS:DAB from the page, and protected the page against its reintroduction, pending discussion. MOS:DAB is very clear and very specific about the prohibitions that are necessary to maintain conformity among our hundreds of thousands of disambiguation pages. A disambiguation page is merely an index, and should contain nothing that would not be found in a typical book index. References and external links are prohibited on disambiguation pages; these belong in the references articles. Only one blue link is permitted per line, to provide the reader with the fastest route to the article actually being sought. If any editor believes that an exception to these rules is required for this page, then the page probably should not be a disambiguation page at all, because that is what exceptions entail. Proposed revision of content into different sections

Hi - I came across this article and was a bit confused by the different items, since I'm not an expert on Palestine. I read the articles to better understand them, and took the liberty of revising the items into more meaningful sections, with some additional text for clarification. What do you think?

I realized that I had the Palestinian People in there twice - in the lede and in the demographic section - so I enhanced the first reference, and revised the others. I moved up the people categories to the top, per your suggestion. I also put in a few more of the political bodies, but since they don't all have the term Palestinian in the article titles (ex: PLO), I'm wondering if that's too much for the term Palestinian. And, might the political organizations warrant their own disambiguation page Palestinian Political Organizations? The absence of straightforward entries like these (and there may be others) makes it difficult to disambiguate links to this DAB page correctly, and makes it a very poor navigational tool. Disambiguation pages

@Lithopsian: What you reverted [1] was not a cut & paste move. It was a blank & redirect to another page. Of course I know how to move a page. The ambiguous term here is "Palestinian" not "Palestinians": the disambiguation page should be at Palestinian (disambiguation) and not at Palestinians (disambiguation) ("Palestinian" being both a noun and adjective). The current version of Palestinians (disambiguation) [2] has a number of style errors, which I had previously corrected at this version [3] of Palestinian (disambiguation).
