I Found remnants of seashells on my property in Elba NY
[edit]I'm curious to know if they are in fact from the sea that once covered this area and how long ago?I've also got a large fossil collection that I would donate to a museum? 2603:7081:453F:9100:14C4:9BE1:FDB7:9B1 (talk) 00:29, 20 April 2022 (UTC)

Paleontology in New York (state) → Paleontology in New York – I feel the "(state)" disambiguation is unnecessary as an article on paleontology in New York City would be completely implausible. :3 F4U (they/it) 20:29, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
- Support. This simply reverses a redirect by reverting an undiscussed move from 2016. Station1 (talk) 02:47, 10 July 2023 (UTC)

- Support. Paleontology in New York City would just be covered here. Interestingly, however, there is a Paleontology in Washington, D.C.. {{replyto|SilverLocust}} (talk) 04:52, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
- Haha, maybe not "completely implausible" then, just "already be within the scope of this article". :3 F4U (they/it) 04:53, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
