Palaeotriakis → Paratriakis – Genus "Palaeotriakis" is created by Guinot et al. (2013)[1] for previously described Paratriakis species P. subserratus and P. curtirostris. However, as you can see when search in Google Scholar, this new genus is only supported by author (Just Guinot (2013)[2]) and no other paper used this genus, at least for P. curtirostris it is still considered as species of Paratriakis.[3][4] For the time being, I think just move this page to Paratriakis and just mention about Palaeotriakis move in that article would be better. Oppose: Not sure I see the need to move. Why not just create Paratriakis as you suggest and leave Palaeotriakis? Nothing to me suggests that Guinot paper is invalid. YorkshireExpat (talk) 09:47, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
