The process bends that metal, and it is permanent. To find a vendor, you can look in the yellow pages under Auto Body Repair, and look for Paintless Dent Repair companies. As for finding a "good vendor" - that's more difficult. Try inquiring several used car managers at large auto dealerships in your area. They probably use a PDR tech on their lot. Yes, it is essentially an advertising for this guy. Also "An untrained individual can actually damage a dent if attempting a repair without the correct skills and knowledge."
