Institute of Justice case

[edit]

A section about a lawsuit against the city was taken down in December of 2015. I believe it should have been left up after a simple rewrite. - - Cyborg Ninja 10:39, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I think it is pretty obvious that the city's behavior is what put this particular town on the map. It is obviously an important part of the town's history and its current condition and should be part of the article. Its omission is obviously due to somebody trying to slant public relations and bury what the town is doing to its public. I'm confident that if somebody put it back in, it would be swiftly removed again, so why bother, even though its removal would be POV. Sort of sad, both that it happens to WP, and that the people of the St. Louis burbs have to live with all of these little petty muncipalities bleeding their populations the way they do. @KTrimble: Yes, there's no question that the civil rights lawsuit is relevant. Seems like there is a talk page consensus, so I have restored that section and updated it with the city's settlement agreement. The party who disagreed with the presence of a civil rights lawsuit section never bothered to engage on the talk page after himself requesting talk page discussion. It appears he is now banned from Wikipedia for unrelated reasons. --Elephanthunter (talk) 07:25, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
