Paethongtarn Shinawatra → Paetongtarn Shinawatra – Per WP:UE and WP:ESTABLISHED, as "Paetongtarn" appears to be the more widely used spelling of her name in English-language media. For example, AP, BBC, CNN, and Time all spell her given name as "Paetongtarn". Indecisjon (talk) 22:54, 13 May 2023 (UTC)— Relisting. >>> Extorc.talk 18:15, 19 May 2023 (UTC)

Official day of assuming office as Prime Minister
[edit]Although there will be a royal command reception ceremony on 18 August 2024 in the royal command it is written "Announced on 16 August 2024" which means that the appointment has already been made on 16 August 2024. Preime TH (talk) 04:35, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Agree but Thai Wikipedia why not change? 223.204.71.128 (talk) 09:05, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- She was sworn-in and took office on the 18th according to Al Jazeera {[1] estar8806 (talk) ★ 02:30, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Estar8806 Correct but not completely Her term of office must be counted from 16 August 2024 because the royal decree stated that the appointment began on 16 August 2024 even though she was sworn in and officially assumed office on 18 August. Preime TH (talk) 11:54, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
Um..."he/she"?
[edit]In the personal life section, there is a sentence reading 'She is the first he/she to become prime minister in over 20 years.' At first I thought it was just a mistake meaning to say she was the first woman PM in 20 years, but they had one from 2011-2014. What is this about? Slidinghorn (talk) 18:18, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
- UPDATE - Undid the change. Looking at the user's history, it was quite obviously vandalism. Slidinghorn (talk) 18:51, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
