"Underground cables are used to step down high voltage" doesn't sound right. In this application the transformer is what is stepping down (or up) the voltage — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.133.81.166 (talk) 13:25, 26 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Content referring to "Bay-o-net" needs updated to refer to generic terms rather than this specific trademark which is not recognised globally.Alistair1978 (talk) 20:09, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Need to remove box that says "Part of Religeous Coversion" it doesn't have anything to do with this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.45.24.17 (talk) 00:48, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Need a photo of the insides

[edit]

Darn it, every time I've seen inside one of these, I never had a camera handy. --Wtshymanski (talk) 15:50, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Flooding Issues

[edit]
  • I Currently live in Florida, and am taking an Electrician Class, this was a criticism i have heard from my instructor about these
  • I looked into it some, i should have the links somewhere, but if i remember correctly, some area down south that was flooding had to raise theirs, and there was good news coverage
  • Checking that, and maybe code regulations on waterproof-ness, and minimum pad heights etc may be of interest as well
  • Had Service Mains came up again, and this crossed my mind; i may have mentioned it on-wiki somewhere else, but either way i want to kind of document my thoughts here for future me, or someone else, to be able to see and work on
