Merged Pachakutik into this page.--The One True Fred 10:48, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
Everybody knows this organisation as "Pachakutik". The full name can be mentioned in the article, but is nor necessary as title. The translation of "unidad" is "unity", not "united"; i.e., the name (in English) is: "Plurinational Unity Movement". Daniel Cordoba-Bahle 15:12, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

Color
[edit]@HapHaxion: Using white as a party color is a real bother in election maps, infobox and diagrams. It's better to avoid it whenever possible. I don't know about the sources saying white is their customary color, but we don't use the customary one either for Allianza Pais. Why not simply use a color of the logo as usual? Purple is on it, it's close to the previous one, and it isn't used by any other ecuadorian party.--Aréat (talk) 13:48, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- As this party frequently uses rainbow colours, I would say this is definitely acceptable. Wikipedia, first and foremost, is designed to be easily understood and readily accessible. If including their customary colour would cause unnecessary confusion among readers, and there is an alternative colour that is readily associated with the party, I think it is acceptable to substitute the former for the latter for the sake of clarity.
