[edit]Why can't I find any mention of 'Yhä hämärää' as 'Best New Music' on the Pitchfork website? Probably, because it wasn't. Hardly any album gets the distinction with 7.8 score. It generally takes at least 8.3 and not even all those are selected (for example 'Laulu laakson kukista'). Also, in Finnish, in the titles of albums (as well as movies, books and so forth) only the first word is capitalized.
- Sorry, my mistake, it was actually Stylus that I got the recommendation off of. As usual, Pitchfork were late to the party. I have updated the article accordingly. Also, virtually every English-language publication capitalises the title as per normal English convention for proper nouns. For example:
- http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/record_review/50890-laulu-laakson-kukista
- http://www.halo-17.net/reviews/index/Paavoharju/Laulu%20Laakson%20Kukista/11861
- http://www.amazon.com/Laulu-Laakson-Kukista-Paavoharju/dp/B0016QC9ME
- http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=94847
- I think it's evident that the common usage in English is to capitalise as normal. Therefore, I've reverted that part of your change. But thankyou for also reminding me to look on fiwiki for an interwiki. Lankiveil (speak to me) 13:31, 13 June 2008 (UTC).
- Than again, the official Fonal Records site uses "Lauluja laakson kukista".
