Lead section
[edit]If I understand correctly from the lead section, Dr. Nduom's main claim to fame is to have been born on February 15, 1953 at Elmina in the Central Region. Is that right? --Blanchardb-Me•MyEars•MyMouth-timed 15:04, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
- There are clear assertions of notability further on in the text, so I am inclined to let that pass. The more serious problem is that the whole thing is written in an excessively friendly tone. I have tagged it as POV and needing a complete rewrite in more neutral terms. --DanielRigal (talk) 15:30, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
- I did not mark the article for deletion either. I did see the assertion of notability further down. My comment above was meant to explain why I tagged this article with {{intromissing}}. Sometimes, the first sentence of an article is the only sentence a casual reader will read. I do not want people to dig through the whole article just to see what it is that made Nduom famous. --Blanchardb-Me•MyEars•MyMouth-timed 16:33, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Why Dr. Nduom is known
[edit]He is well known because he is a influential former member of Government and current Presidential Candidate in Ghana.
Just FYI. We will clean up this postKwekoolio (talk) 16:36, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

==Initial rating== To date this article is not rated, although discussion is going on and improvements have been made. I therefore deem it prudent to rate it as quality=Start, with importance=low (although this could become mid if Nduom is elected to the presidency in December). I also added a WikiprojectAfrica banner. Michel Doortmont (talk) 01:23, 22 March 2008 (UTC) |
