Notability
[edit]I'm tagging this article with {{Notability}}. The only other source I've found is this regurgitated press release, which hardly qualifies as an independent source. Is there much other info around somewhere? -- Trevj (talk) 14:54, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
Regarding your notability notice on the PCTI Solutions page:
You should look in the NHS Documentation linked to on the Page for PCTI and Docman. The company has over 50% market penetration in UK Primary Care providers (Doctor's Surgeries and Health Centres) and 70 hospitals. The whole of Scotland uses PCTI software.
Another place to find references is a publication called EHI Insider which is a specialist publication for implementation of electronic healthcare in the UK.

- Thanks. This sort of info will be more useful here than on my talk page. -- Trevj (talk) 15:44, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
- If you (or anyone) feels as if sources like Surrey signs £325,000 deal with PCTI are sufficient to establish notability, please feel free to remove the tag. -- Trevj (talk) 16:04, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
- I have removed the notice on the grounds that I think being the supplier of a system that is deployed throughout every part of the NHS in Scotland is notable in its own right. Add to that the number of hospitals, health centres and GP Surgeries using PCTI products throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland makes it even more notable.

- Thanks. I don't intend to reassess and reinstate the tag at the moment. However, it should be noted that the notability of such companies/systems isn't determined according to what editors think about where they're deployed, etc. but rather guidelines such as WP:NCORP. Also, it'd be most helpful to others if you could please use edit summaries. Cheers. -- Trevj (talk) 12:50, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
