In my opinion, this article either lacks sufficient Attribution that it satisfies the Notability criteria for Organizations and companies, or it may violate the Conflict of interest guideline, or perhaps it is a Copyright violation.
Wikipedia articles must be based on reliable sources to verify any claims of notability. Even though the lack of reliable source attribution in an article is not grounds for deletion in itself, an article with absolutely no sources (or only external links to unreliable ones) suggests to some editors that multiple reliable sources may not, in fact, exist.
Although I am considering tagging this article for deletion according to the Deletion policy, I do not have time to examine this article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.
Please respond on this Discussion page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation.—Triwbe (talk) 13:28, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Oystershell page
[edit]Thank you for the comments on the Oystershell page. As to your comments on Notability and/or Conflict of Interest, two things: I do have an interest in creating this page as I am employed with Oystershell. But I do hope this is not a "conflict of interest". Secondly, I really gave the concept of Notability a lot of thought before creating the page. But, I wasn't able to find much guidance or definition of that concept. What is encyclopedically notable ? This begs the question "to whom ?" I know for a fact that this company page is notable for a lot of peers and competitors in my particular business. Admittedly this contribution means nothing to the large public.
So please give it a try and do not delete the page. We'll try to make it an interesting reference point to patents and research areas that are covered by the page.
Thank you

- I personally don't care if the references supplied are in Vlams, French or German, so if you can supply some then that would be OK. Just make sure they are 3rd party refs, not press release or self published Be careful about the conflict of interest element as well. --Triwbe (talk) 14:02, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
