Deletion
[edit]Someone has proposed this article for deletion without stating why it fails to reach notability criteria... I'd say keep, as it is in line with similar articles Oxford University Labour Club and Oxford University Conservative Association. You can't keep two and delete the third... --Woodgreener (talk) 23:38, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]Previously prod'd. Although this is a poorly written article, there are enough sources just going a google search, its previous forms "Oxford University Liberal Club", Russell Club, and the Palmerston Club are possibly also notable. Aloneinthewild (talk) 13:52, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
- Notability seems reasonably clear simply through sourcing, as well as through its role in the political careers of many of its alumni. I'd definitely say keep. CuriousCabbage (talk) 23:28, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
BLP violations
[edit]There was previously in this article a large list of alumni of OULD, a significant number of whom are living persons. This entire list was unreferenced. I have removed the list, as not only has it gone unreferenced for a long time, it is against WP:BLP to add this sort of material unreferenced about living persons. Before it is readded, reliable sources must be added as well to cite it appropriately. Naypta ☺ | ✉ talk page | 23:19, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
