This article does not meet the good article criteria. My main concern is that the article is too short (about a fourth of what I would consider a minimum) and lack of sufficient referencing. Other issues:

The lead is far too short and does not summarize the article.
The history focuses on the county as a political entity. All geographic articles are expected to cover the area as a geographical whole, and include areas such as economics, population, community, politics etc. The history section is very sparse and contains for instance no newer history.
Is there an county government or the like? If so, this needs its own section. Sections should also be created for economics, transport, environment/nature and culture, at minimum.
The two lists should be incorporated into relevant sections. If large portions of the county are preserved, perhaps a separate section can be made with this, with descriptions as prose.
Cities needs to be converted into prose with a description, and possibly a table with area, population etc.
A single-link section is not permitted
Galleries are not permitted within this scope.
