Penis Owl

The sculpture is locally referred to as "penis owl", owing to how it looks from the reverse side: https://goo.gl/maps/G1PgBfTtsgVnkA9V7 Would it be ok to put that in the article under "criticism"? 203.13.3.89 (talk) 01:16, 5 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The sculpture was created by artist Bruce Armstrong, who died Thursday, 4 April 2024.

The title "Owl (sculpture)" is a bit vague and doesn't clearly convey what the article is about. Another option for renaming is "Penis Owl", but that could be potentially offensive and conflicts with other "penis owls" ([1]https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-11-16/phallic-owl-statue-erected-in-serbia/10504392). The culturally used non-offensive name is the Belconnen Owl, but the title "Big Powerful Owl (sculpture)" could also be considered. 500 Cigarettes (talk) 10:43, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
