Use at CERN

This article claims that "In 2017, CERN, Europe’s particle-physics laboratory near Geneva, Switzerland, adopted Overleaf as its preferred collaborative authoring platform." It cites an article that claims the same, but the article itself doesn't provide many details. On the other hand I work at CERN and I haven't seen any evidence that it is "preferred": I see far more google docs and latex documents in gitlab than overleaf.
