I have started this page because there was no page about this specific new wood based heater. I am working on an amateur enthusiasts website for outdoor wood boilers at the same time (it's not published yet, nor do I have the DNS assigned to the IP yet) for wood heating methods. Both myself and a friend of mine own this type of device (different brands however) and I thought that wikipedia could use a page as well. I do plan on expanding it. It is not for advertisement, it is designed to inform and let people make informed choices before buying such a device. Anyone that has facts to add, please do so. I'm having a hard time just finding facts on these devices so far, many websites (like woodheat.org) just has conjecture at this point.

Thank everyone for any help.

I also see how this page might be too short to be it's own article. It might better be merged into the existing stove or wood stove articles. Suggestions please.

Its good. if I knew more I might add something about flue gas safety, people's reasons for using these heaters, whether people are making their own, how they're operated and their pros & cons. Tabby (talk) 19:44, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why don't you consider adding more available brands. Also, a good outdoor wood boiler forum is http://outdoorwoodfurnaceinfo.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.248.22.102 (talk) 00:21, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The definition

[edit]

I don't understand why anyone would describe an outdoor boiler as a variant of a wood burning stove. It clearly is a variant of a regular wood-fired central heating boiler which just happens to be equipped for outdoor installation. 80.186.192.104 (talk) 10:55, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
