price

"A price of $7 to $9" - per week, per month, per year, one-off, what? 81.158.205.16 23:17, 28 October 2005 (UTC)

No evidence demonstrated that Shavick’s acquisition has been completed

I check the CRTC Web site every day and have seen no evidence that Shavick’s proposed acquisition of OutTV has occurred. Googling shows no such notices. The article will need to be changed (preferably just reverted, while also correcting “as not” to “has not” been approved). – joeclark 17:14, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

OUTtv vs PrideVisiion vs HARDtv

It says in this and the HARDtv article that OUTtv is a new channel with a new license and so on and that HARDtv is basically PrideVision but it just rebranded. Now this doesn't seem right, it seems as though OUTtv is PrideVision and it just removed the adult content and rebranded and HARDtv s the new channel with a new license, check this CRTC page for the license for HARDtv and I can't find the license for OUTtv, so I assume that it is using the same license for PrideVision. If this is to be true, the articles need to be re-written. MusiMax 04:06, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

I'll leave this msg here for awhile and see what other users think and if anyone can find any info that proves this... because with the CRTC page that I found for the license for HARDtv pretty much proves my point anyways but I'll leave t for a bit and see what info comes up. OUTtv and SelectTV

I think OUTtv has been removed from Select TV in Australia, CurveTV looks to be gone which was the package it was packged in and I don't see it listed in any other package or find it anywhere, so I think it has been removed. I'll keep the info in the article about it airing in Australia for a bit longer b/c it looks as tho its been removed. MusiMax 01:56, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Alliance Atlantis sale?

Does anyone have any information on when Alliance Atlantis sold their interest in the channel? Originally the first application for PrideVision was for Headline Media Group and Alliance Atlantis, and at some point AAC sold their interest in the channel, but I cannot find when. Any help on this matter would be appreciated. MusiMax (talk) 15:42, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Rating

I rated this article up to a C class for the LGBT project. It is near to a B, but i feel that it needs a section on response/reception or somesuch. The viewing figures tell something, but not enough, especially for foreign readers (eg. is 22,000 a lot?). The gay press at least must have had something to say about the channel, and if it was controvertial, i expect the mainstrema press would also.

Such a (cited) section would make it a B class.

Also i was slightly confused by the channel split. Out TV is still a 24 hr channel? Pridevision is defunct? Only late night or porn? Are they still affilited in any way apart from the overlap in owners?

And what is with the skipping back and forth between future and past tenses? I assumne the channel split and byout are finished, so should be all re-written as pst. Good luck! Yobmod (talk) 14:49, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Is it HD, or not?

The article claims (without citation) that "The HD channel was launched on July 2", 2012. But neither this article, nor OutTV's own website make any mention of which actual channels it is on any service. Does OutTV HD exist? 24.57.210.141 (talk) 04:01, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

Yes it exists, see their tweet on carriers. Fry1989 eh? 01:42, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
