Hi, I'll leave comments soon! Sebbirrrr (talk) 16:39, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
Infobox and lead
[edit]- Short description is already generated by the infobox so the template isn't needed
- The templates in the infobox could be removed
- Shouldn't it be Speak Now (Deluxe)?
- Because it was promoted as a single from Speak Now (without the "Deluxe" part), I think it's safe to keep it that way.
- Fair enough. Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

- "not as outstanding" → outstanding should be replaced per MOS:PUFFERY
- Done
- Link Platinum to RIAA Certification
- Done
- "with intricate lyrical details" → from the way it's written it sounds like the critics complimented the song with "intricate lyrical details"

Background and composition
[edit]- Done
- "as part of Swift's live album, Speak Now World Tour – Live" → seems like WP:OR, unless the CD single proves that?
- The information was added back in 2011, so I AGD'd on that one... Apparently it can be verified on Discogs, but it is unreliable.
- I just checked the CD images and the bit about the tour isn't mention anywhere so I recommend removing it. Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

- Didn't Carlson also produce the song?

Critical reception
[edit]- This section could be renamed to just Reception as the commercial performance section is relatively short and could be inserted here
- "gave the song a four-and-a-half out of five stars" → "gave the song four-and-a-half out of five stars", but I don't see a star rating in the source's current state, but it appears on this archive link https://web.archive.org/web/20120327014258/http://tasteofcountry.com/taylor-swift-ours/
- Done thank you!
- No problem! Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- Done thank you!
- The All Access review isn't given by the source
- Added another archive-url
- Yep that's good. Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- Added another archive-url
- "he wrote" → "she wrote"
- Done
- "as mawkish" → "as "mawkish" "

Commercial performance
[edit]- See above
- "After its digital release in November 2011 "Ours" debuted at number 13" → I believe it's WP:OR as it's not mentioned by the source
- The source says, "Taylor Swift debuts ... at Nos. 13 and 26 on the Hot 100 with "Ours" (148,000; her next country radio single) and "Superman" (91,000), respectively. [...] The tracks made their digital retail debuts Nov. 8, after previously being available only on the deluxe CD version of Swift's "Speak Now" album at Target stores."
- My bad I somehow missed that. Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

- Capitalize platinum and link it to RIAA Certification
- Done
- Include Australia in the previous sentence as the first country

Accolades
[edit]- Fine.
Live performances and music video
[edit]- "dressed in tennis shoes and messy hair" → "donning tennis shoes and messy hair" as that would imply she is only dressed in those two
- Done
- "The video spent seven weeks at number one on CMT" → I'm not sure if this is worth including, doesn't it fall under WP:SINGLEVENDOR?
- I think it can be included, because "some network charts may fulfill other NMUSIC criteria instead"; and given CMT's prominence in country music, seven weeks at No. 1 is pretty notable to me.
- Sounds good. Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

Credits and personnel
[edit]- Not sure what "national" is supposed to refer to.

Charts
[edit]- Should be formatted accordingly so that the year-end charts appear on the right.
Done Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
Certifications
[edit]- Ref 27 should be added here and the no. of sales should be changed to 1,500,000
Done Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
Release history
[edit]- Format → Format(s)
- Given that all entries are singular, I think "Format" suffices
- Understandable. Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

References
[edit]- Copyvio at 30.6% is alright
- Source check: 10, 11, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 31, 42, 43, 44
- I'll AGF on the ProQuest sources
- You could access to them with the Wikipedia Library!
- Thanks! I checked them through the library and they're all fine. Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

- Ref 23 doesn't work for me
- I'm unsure about the reliability of Country Universe and Roughstock
- Removed Roughstock (the information is not verified by the source). Writers for Country Universe are professionals and journalists who also write for Slant Magazine, so it should be reliable at least for a GA.
- Sounds good. Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

- The ref for Australia's peak position doesn't work
- Replaced archive-url
- That's better! Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- Replaced archive-url
- Ref 2: MTV should be tagged as the publisher instead
- Ref 32: CMT should be tagged as the publisher instead
- Use this archive link for ref 42 instead as the current one doesn't work https://web.archive.org/web/20120310051401/http://www.eonline.com/news/watch_now_taylor_swifts_ours_music/278022

Outcome
[edit]- On hold for 7 days. Article looking good overall, just needs a few fixes! Sebbirrrr (talk) 17:40, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for the review. I have addressed your concerns above. Cheers, Ippantekina (talk) 13:08, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Ippantekina: Great work! I did some minor editing and left a comment about the CD single. Sebbirrrr (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks! I removed the claim that it was released alongside the album and kept the release date. I also added an Amazon ref to back it up :) Ippantekina (talk) 02:28, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
