This confuses three different Otis families

The Boston Brahmin family are the descendants of Harrison Gray Otis the Boston patriot. He was not closely related to the Harrison Gray Otis of Vermont, Ohio and Los Angeles. Elisha Otis the inventor of the elevator safety brake was also not closely related to Harrison Gray Otis of Boston.RichardBond (talk) 12:32, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
