Sermon

[edit]

I removed the section about the post controversy sermon. It is sourced only to a blog, which is not a reliable source. We can't use it unless a reliable source is available, and cited. It would also belong inside the Trinity United Church section, rather than as a section on its own. GRBerry 01:10, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewing again, I see it was readded, claiming that "Morrissey is a syndicated columnist". I can't find any evidence that the blog is by anyone named Morrissey (though that blogger does occasionally refer to another blog by an Ed Morrissey, no such connection is made in this particular post). Nor, even if it was reliably sourced would it merit mention here; it is merely serving as a coatrack to attack Obama, not truly discussing Otis Moss III, and is undue emphasis to put that much weight on any particular sermon; allowing for some vacations he has probably given over 500 of them by now, including his time as a youth pastor in Colorado and a lead pastor in Georgia. So I'm going to remove the section again unless a compelling argument for inclusion is presented. GRBerry 19:04, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
