The way this has been reported in Australia, by authorities and by media, distinctly refer to this incident as a murder-suicide, not a mass shooting. Why are we then labeling the attack-type as a mass shooting? Mass shooting (for Australians) implies random victims in a public places ie Port Arthur, not the localized incident that occurred in Osmington. Galaxy ostars (talk) 09:50, 22 May 2018 (UTC)
- Absolutely right. The article is about to be changed. HiLo48 (talk) 05:10, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
- It clearly fits the definition of both. Where it takes place or who the victims are is irrelevant to that. Jim Michael (talk) 13:11, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
