[edit]The CPU in the Executive was the Zilog Z80B running at 6MHz not the Z80A in the description.
The only operating system supported by Osborne was CP/M Plus (3.0). It was never supported by CP/M (2.2).
The description states that sales were 10,000+. It actually sold 16,000+ in the first 3 months following introduction and many more following that.
I was product manager for the Osborne Executive. 2600:6C88:DB40:81:58AC:41FD:7301:70C3 (talk) 16:46, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hi,
- Thanks for adding some input and for the work you did back in the day on this amazing machine.
- The Osborne Executive Reference Guide lists it as Z80A at 4.0 MHz. Were there some other versions running z80B and 6 MHz? If you can provide any further information, that would be great to hear about it -
