I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Organizations associated with the Transcendental Meditation movement's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Chryssides":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 14:36, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Maharishi Group

[edit]

I'm about to post a new article about the Maharishi Group in India. The draft is at User:Will Beback/Sandbox 3. Of course it can be edited after it's posted, but if there are major problems then it'd be best to work those out first. Feel free to post any comments about it here.   Will Beback  talk  06:04, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PS: I expect we'll include a short summary of it in this article.   Will Beback  talk  06:08, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm. I've never heard of the Maharishi Group. I seriously doubt that MUM is part of the Maharishi Group. I think you need to be cautious about taking claims from a source such as a commercial website. TimidGuy (talk) 15:34, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'd seen the name over and over in my searches through archives but I'd always just assumed they were unrelated. Then I found that I was wrong; that it was founded by the Maharishi and directed by his nephew. Several of the members of the Maharishi Group identify MUM as a part of the group, but obviously it isn't a core element and doesn't appear to be under the direct control of Anand Shrivastava, although dozens or even hundreds of schools in India appear to be more closely connected to the group. Probably the thing would be to make it clearer that these are claims made by "commercial websites".   Will Beback  talk  15:40, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I modified it to address TG's concern. It's now posted at Maharishi Group.   Will Beback  talk  05:02, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
