Propose splitting into overview articles by continent

[edit]

After this article has been substantially expanded – thanks, Organicagfields, Rzeid, Gh89rt$, and Sd2900 – while being organized by continent rather than by country as the article title would suggest, I propose splitting the article into the following separate articles:

A general overview may be given in Organic farming. This would considerably support further expansion of our international coverage of organic farming. I'm ready to help with reorganization and expansion, but would like you to weigh in on the proposal first. --PanchoS (talk) 11:25, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I support the creation of those articles if you have the time to do it. A quicker solution would be to move and rename this article to 'Organic farming by continent' which would better reflect the content.Dialectric (talk) 19:10, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Pinging PanchoS. I support the proposal per Dialectric, and would suggest adding a discussion on a relevant WikiProject if you want more consensus before splitting, or if you'd prefer someone to take over the task. However, I removed the split tag due to it being over 5 years since originally proposed. A. C. Santacruz Talk 10:08, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Pancho hasn't edited since 2019 and might not respond. Are you interested in splitting the article? If so, there have been no objections, so I encourage you to do so. If you don't have the time right now, I can just do the move to 'Organic farming by continent' as I suggested in 2016.Dialectric (talk) 16:02, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have now completed the move from 'Organic farming by country' to 'Organic farming by continent', which more accurately describes the article content. Having articles for each individual continent would still be a valuable improvement if someone wants to take that on.Dialectric (talk) 23:23, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
