Former route
[edit]A portion (portions?) of 126 between Veneta and Noti was realigned in 19??. I can't find any info. Does anyone know? Katr67 14:36, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
Wording
[edit]"it encounters the working-class town of Springfield first" Is that NPOV? I don't think so, how about just "it encounters the city of Springfield first."15.243.169.70 18:43, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think it encounters anything. It just lays there. Thanks for the heads up--I'll see if I can reword it. Katr67 18:51, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Eugene - Florence section
[edit]The article contradicts itself by sugggesting here the the eugene florence section was 'completed' with the 1957 opening of the Petersen tunnel, yet elsewhere the route had a number since 1926.
the Petersen tunnel is a cut off route that goes up a side canyon and tunnels under the top to shorten the route (as the alternative to following 'stage coach road' which goes down the Suislaw River all the way. I do not know when the tunnel route was opened (i.e. was there a surface route around the tunnel before the tunnel was dug---or if what is now called stagecoach road which followed the river all the way was route before 1957.Rvannatta (talk) 07:21, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
