Inclusion of Stephen Colbert

[edit]

I see that he has been included on this page with a proper citation, but he keeps being removed. It is clear that Colbert has been knighted, however it is unclear whether he has been awarded the Order of the Star explicitly. I propose that we email the Jordanian embassy is Washington D.C. (I pick America, because Colbert is an American citizen). Until we receive a reply, we can leave the cited material up, and remove it if we get negative confirmation. It is pretty clear that he was not knighted at all. It was a joke on a comedy program. You can watch it. He was also "knighted" by Paul McCartney, equally meaningless.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 10:59, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know, one is the Queen of Jordan. He's fooling me if it's a joke. Outback the koala (talk) 02:47, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Actually she isn't "the" Queen of Jordan. Her title is "Queen" but she's actually the wife of the former King, now deceased. The Queen of Jordan, today, is Queen Rania. If you watch that scene and think it wasn't just a joke, then yes, I guess they are fooling you pretty good.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 23:35, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well I cannot view the video in my country, I'll take your word for it. Outback the koala (talk) 03:12, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
