I have a feeling that the Mark Mulcahy linked from this article isn't the same Mark Mulcahy mentioned in this article... 172.192.222.91 (talk) 03:53, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
"fictional shark"
[edit]This suggests that the application JAWS is named after the move character in Jaws. But JAWS is an acronym so presumably this is not the case. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.232.250.50 (talk) 14:39, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- It isn't, however the name Jaws is famous as a shark, so Freedom Scientific's page for the JAWS product has a large shark on it, and when starting JAWS the little application tab has a shark's dorsal fin on it. 80.101.128.211 (talk) 21:39, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
