It seems like this page is written about pars opercularis. This should probably be moved to the correct page. Paulhkh (talk) 04:56, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The "Orbital part of inferior frontal gyrus" (this page) might be the exact same thing as the "Orbitofrontal cortex" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orbitofrontal_cortex) - but I'm not 100% positive. Those two regions have similar names but represent different regions. Roughly, orbital part of inferior frontal gyrus is small region which located at lateral side of frontal lobe, but orbital cortex is big region which located at bottom of frontal lobe.--Was a bee (talk) 03:57, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orbital part of inferior frontal gyrus. This region is one of the three sub region of the inferior frontal gyrus.
Inferior frontal gyrus. Inferior frontal gyrus includes orbital part as its sub-region.
Orbital gyrus. Orbital gyrus represents almost same region to the orbitofrontal cortex.

@Wasabee, I see your point, thank you, but I also think that this entry is still confusing: since the inferior frontal gyrus has 3 parts, one of which is named "Pars ORBITALIS" (the part nearest the forehead), and starting the article out with, "The ORBITAL part of inferior frontal gyrus..." can lead a reader into thinking that it is the Pars ORBITALIS, rather than the Pars OPERCULARIS that's being discussed. Since it's the Pars Opercularis that the article is to be about, and there's ANOTHER part that is NAMED Pars Orbitalis, I think it's unnecessarily confusing to mention right at the beginning of the article that the Pars Opercularis is a PART of the ORBITAL part of the cortex. Too much use of the word ORBITAL for a part that is not the Pars Orbitalis.

As of now (2/19/16) this page is definitely talking about pars orbitalis. My source of reference is the fact that I am a scientist currently doing detailed anatomical research specific to this region. It still needs more work/detail though. So does Broca's region. S 07:29, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
