Images
[edit]Included image of Dahomeian opon Ifá due to its notability in academia. Removed the Portuguese opon Ifá with two heads due to the original article lacking any mention of it and the lack of a reputable source.

Included Details on Zoomorphic Markings
[edit]Described the function and cosmology associated with the zoomorphic markings depicted on select opon ifas. Sangbin1999 (talk) 00:19, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
New Section on Cosmology
[edit]Introduced a new section on cosmology -- specifically, the relationship between Ifa and Esu according to Yoruba folk tales and an odu.

Delayed Update
[edit]Performed major edits to main article a week ago by copying and pasting from my sandbox. Expanded the lead, and introduced a new source from Peter Morton-Williams. Sorted existing text into two subheadings: "Structure," and "Usage in Divination" and elaborated with new information with emphasis on actual ritual proceedings and the design of the divination tray. Working on including more research on diasporic variations in design and usage of opon ifás.

Developing a Bibliography
[edit]I'm currently working on augmenting the existing cited sources and incorporating new material as well. Bulleted are some minor notes and below them is a working bibliography that will be updated as I find new sources.
-Reference number two is a broken link -I will try to add a functional link to cited source #4 (Pogoson). Edit: Link added.
