Where are the Polls?!?

[edit]

The Ukrainian Elections are coming up in under a year. Where is the latest polling? No polling for over a year - this can't be right. The people of Ukraine must have an opinion. Surely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2405:6E00:492:DC40:8819:5971:7901:C6B7 (talk) 13:41, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Polling firms (from the article on the next parliamentary elections)

[edit]

There are many unknown and unregistered firms in Ukraine that call themselves sociological firms. They invent from nothing opinion polls in the interests of their customers.[1][2][3] There is a whole project "Sellers of ratings" of the independent edition "Texty", which helps to expose pseudo-sociologists and hidden PR firms.[4] The voter does not want to vote for someone who has little chance of passing, so you need to create an illusion. And here are pseudo-polling firms. Their lies are widely circulated in the media, partly through unprofessionalism and partly for money. Historically, in the Ukrainian-language version of this article are publishing polls of reputable companies accredited by the Sociological Association of Ukraine, as well as surveys of the Democratic Initiatives Foundation (DIF) (in the project "Sellers of ratings" they appear as trusted), and in the English-language version are publishing all polls, including fakes. I think this is wrong when viewers of the Ukrainian-language version learn verified information from authoritative sources, and viewers of the English-language version do not, especially since the English-language version has more visits. I have arguments against all non-authoritative organizations that appear here. Active Group and RTS are in the list of pseudo-polling firms from the project "Sellers of ratings". It is important to understand that the project is currently seeking funding, so its activities have been temporarily suspended, many pseudo-firms at the stage of addition. IAP suddenly appeared before the local elections and then suddenly disappeared. RDI has no contacts, it is not in the registers, which indicates that the company does not exist at all. USG suddenly appeared before the local elections. Also their director Oleksandr Levtsun is not independent, he actually repeats the messages of the OPZZh party.[5][6] UIF is also not an independent firm, its founder is a politician Anton Herashchenko (this is stated on the firm's website). Given the above, it is advisable to publish only polls of trusted organizations, especially since there is a database (https://texty.org.ua/d/socio/#trusted). Ratings poll shouldn't be included

[edit]

The latest poll is an approval rating poll not a voting intention, they shouldn't be used interchangably. EnglishPoliticalPerson (talk) 21:44, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
