Factual discrepancy
[edit]In this article, it's stated that Nikolaus von Falkenhorst was to be executed, but instead had his sentence commuted to life in prison. His own article, however, states that:
"The sentence was later commuted to twenty years' imprisonment, after successful appeal by Sven Hedin. Falkenhorst was released from Werl prison on July 23, 1953, due to bad health. He died in Holzminden in 1968."
This article's version of events is sourced, while the one in the other article is not. Eik Corell (talk) 12:05, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
- The above could be right the source I had just claimed he was to be executed, but instead had his sentence commuted to life in prison. --Jim Sweeney (talk) 12:08, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
Granlund is spelled wrongly (Granland) in the first paragraph under the section "capture" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.250.27.3 (talk) 13:09, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
