Chronological problems
[edit]There are many chronological problems in this article, particularly as related to Kattan Kassin. Will try to get these straightened out in the next couple of weeks. Rgr09 (talk) 12:17, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
- Part of the problem is that the news reports of various convictions often came years after the arrests. Kattan and Barrera (NOT Duran) were also confused; Kattan was arrested in 1981, Barrera in 1984. Still working on this. Rgr09 (talk) 02:58, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
- The Great American Bank indictment was actually a development of the Kattan indictment. Guggliota and Leen also have a long discussion of Operation Greenback, so I have added that into a further reading section. The discussion of bank "connections" in Scott & Marshall, pp. 92-93, is a conspiracist mess. It is not reliable, and should not be used. Rgr09 (talk) 03:55, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
