[edit]I've tagged a few issues with the article. Unfortunately my knowledge of the subject is about nil, but I would suggest dividing the article into sections, with information appropriately referenced. Anything I can do to help, I would be glad to contribute my limited knowledge and experience so let me know. HJ Mitchell (talk) 00:36, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- As an expert in this area, I hope to improve the entry as best I can using secondary references. I hope you will see this improve with each edit, but if you see any areas of concern, go ahead and note them here on the Talk page. Clevelander96 (talk) 02:27, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
I changed the tag from {unreferenced} to {no footnotes}. The {unreferenced} tag is only for articles literally without sources; if the sources are listed at the bottom but no citations are given as to what information comes from which source, that's {no footnotes}. Open polar sea theories regarding the Antarctic?
[edit]What about the Antarctic? Weren't there similar ideas about it? Cf. Edgar Allan Poe's novel The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket. -- 77.187.41.231 (talk) 12:59, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
