USA MoD/DoD OSA How does it support/relate to this topic
[edit]Reference: Open Systems Architecture Contract Guidebook for Program Managers, Version 1.1, May 2013, URL: https://acc.dau.mil/osaguidebook
"Open Systems Architecture" is not "Open Services Architecture" or "Services Oriented Architecture." The word "Open" as a proper noun has, in telecommunications, come to mean infrastructure integration [AKA: Internet] and information interoperability [AKA: NetCentric, XML, UML ...] for the purpose of providing nexus-generation information services [AI for/of CMS, information management, digital libraries, knowledge management, business process and workflow ...].
To get there IMO the nexus-generation information services (NexGIS) requires "Open" applied to standards, protocols, metadata, data schema ... and "Open" competition business models. IOW: The legacy proprietary business model is not suitable for future technology information, information sharing, collaborative synergistic communities, and information/systems lifecycle logistics and sustainment. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AdeloVant (talk • contribs) 22:30, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
Cyberbot II has detected links on OpenACS which have been added to the blacklist, either globally or locally. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed or are highly inappropriate for Wikipedia. The addition will be logged at one of these locations: local or global If you believe the specific link should be exempt from the blacklist, you may request that it is white-listed. Alternatively, you may request that the link is removed from or altered on the blacklist locally or globally. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. Please do not remove the tag until the issue is resolved. You may set the invisible parameter to "true" whilst requests to white-list are being processed. Should you require any help with this process, please ask at the help desk.

Cancellation of proposed deletion
[edit]Sure it is just another page on an open source project, but I don't see why that makes it not notable? The article has existed for 6+ years now, why the sudden deletion urge? Cheeni (talk) 15:11, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
- Let's discuss the question how "sudden" a deletion after multiple issues for 3..6 years is at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/OpenACS. Was that what you intended with an unexplained removal of the maintenance tags? –Be..anyone (talk) 18:39, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
