Merge into Train operating company ?
[edit]Perhaps this should be merged into the Train operating company article which already includes some information on open access operators. Adambro (talk) 21:24, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Article better served with a dedicated category
[edit]The category Category:Open-access train operating companies already covers the information stored in this article, and has the advantage of being updated automatically. Perhaps the list of open-access operators should be moved to the category. -- Mecanismo | Talk 10:52, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

What does this mean?
[edit]Here is the opening sentence of the article:
“In rail transport in Europe, an open-access operator is a train operating company that takes full commercial risk, running on infrastructure owned by a third party and buying paths on a chosen route and in countries where rail services run under franchises are not subject to franchising.”
This sentence needs to be seriously proofread and revised because as it stands now it isn’t clear what it is saying. User2346 (talk) 02:43, 24 October 2021 (UTC)
European Sleeper
[edit]According to seat61, European Sleeper is a new open-access train operator. Should they be added? Bjornte (talk) 19:59, 5 April 2023 (UTC)
