Opel / Vauxhall timeline for the UK
[edit]I'm particularly worried about the veracity of this bit of the article. It's unreferenced... from memory I can say that I don't remember the Vauxhall Royale saloon making any impact at all, and certainly the vast majority of Monzas I ever saw were Opel Monza GSEs, with very, very few Vauxhall Royale coupés around, all of which seemed to quietly fade away. I would be surprised if the Royale name made it to the end of Senator A production. People were, I think, happy with the Opel name by then. HSV Senator merger
[edit]...would be absurd. They only share part of a name, being sold in different markets with completely different technology. They occupy different niches (one an executive car, the other a large sporting saloon with muscle car pretensions. The only thing they share is the door panels of the Opel Senator B and the HSV VP Senator, and presumably some of the underpinnings. Mr.choppers | ✎ 18:58, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
