Will begin soon. JAGUAR  11:16, 28 August 2016 (UTC)

  • I think it would be better to start the lead's second paragraph with "The film" instead of Oopiri, so the name isn't mentioned twice
Done
  • The rupee symbol is finally displaying! After all these years!
Not yet in India. But i am happy for sure. :)
  • "To ensure his girlfriend Nandini's happiness, Vikramadhitya's friend (and legal adviser) Prasad conveys a message" - would sound better as To ensure his girlfriend Nandini's happiness, Vikramadhitya's friend and legal adviser, Prasad, conveys a message
Done
  • " He is detested by his mother (a railway clerk)" - is there any need to mention that his mother is a railway clerk? Unless it's important in the plot then it would be safe to lose it
It is important indeed; Seenu's economic status is mocked at a key juncture where a rich man makes fun of his mother's employment as her salary is less than that of his watchman. Moreover, Seenu too mocks it in an earlier scene as he finds his mother's daily routine quite tedious and boring.
  • "Oopiri, the first Indian remake of The Intouchables, was praised by the Gaumont Film Company (producers of the French film)" - it should be fine to lose the brackets so it reads like Oopiri, the first Indian remake of The Intouchables, was praised by the Gaumont Film Company, producers of the French film.
The actual point was to mention that the film is not only the first remake of The Intouchables, but also the first Indian remake of a film produced by the Gaumont. I've mentioned it there.
  • "200 screens in Telangana; Thozha was released on nearly 400 screens in Tamil Nadu" - link Telangana and Tamil Nadu
Done
  • "Principal photography wrapped in February 2016, and post-production began" - when did post-production begin? In February 2016 or shortly after?
Shortly later. Mentioned the same.
A special thanks to Internet Archive

This article is very well written and well referenced. I couldn't find much wrong with it. All of the issues I raised above are minor and should be ready to pass, once they're dealt with. I haven't watched a Telugu film in several months... JAGUAR  11:03, 29 August 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for taking up the review. I've addressed the concerns listed by you and am hopeful that the article shall pass. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:31, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for taking care of this, Pavan! By all means, let's promote this. Well done on another fine article. JAGUAR  18:18, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
@Jaguar: Thanks :) Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:52, 30 August 2016 (UTC)

Murugesh Babu

Pavanjandhyala and Ssven2, Murugesh Babu wrote the dialogues for the Tamil version, not just Raju Murugan. Please see where this can be added. --Kailash29792 (talk) 14:29, 5 April 2017 (UTC)
