Well-written

[edit]

The article is well-written with only a few minor issues. I fixed the very minor ones. These are the only concerns:

  • "It alternates between the Precambrian shield and the Ordovician limestone plateau that sits atop it to the south several times en route to Burleigh Falls" doesn't quite sound right. Maybe change it to something like this: "The road runs along the border of the Precambrian shield and the Ordovician limestone plateau to its south en route to Burleigh Falls."
  • I think that "Kawartha Lakes City Road 36" and "Peterborough County Road 36" could be bolded in the lead.
  • In the intersections list, are the red links likely to be created? If not, remove the links.
  • The "Footnotes" heading in the references section is unnecessary.

Factually accurate and verifiable

[edit]

References are good — no original research, consistent format.

Broad in coverage

[edit]

The article addresses the main aspects of the topic and does not go into unnecessary detail.

Neutral

[edit]

The article represents viewpoints fairly and without bias, giving due weight to each.

Stable

[edit]

The article is stable.

Images

[edit]

Images are tagged and relevant, and they have good captions.

Good job on this article. I am putting it on hold so that the few issues listed above can be addressed. InTheAM 16:17, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the review! I've bolded the terms in the lead, I agree that they should be that way, especially since those two terms redirect to this article. If created a few redirects out of the redlinks that will never likely have notable articles. The remaining two redlinks (Hwys 36B and 507) are notable and merit articles whenever someone gets around to it. I shortened the one sentence per your recommendations and then some... the fact that one is to the north and the other to the south isn't relevant in the context of that sentence, so I added it to a new sentence following it. "The road runs along the border of the Precambrian shield and the Ordovician limestone plateau en route to Burleigh Falls. The shield lies to the north and is overlain by the plateau to the south." - I think this is better without sacrificing detail, but let me know what your thoughts are if you disagree. - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 22:36, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Great. However, in the table, the links to the cities are broken now. I don't understand why, though. If you can fix it, that would be best, and I can pass the article.
Doing now. It's because I switched what was a wiki-table into a template-built table that's been getting unrolled across road articles... I should make sure to double check them after making the switch. - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 19:25, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That should do it. Listing now. InTheAM 23:13, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
