Lead

[edit]
  • King's Highway 21, commonly referred to as Highway 21... Isn't the title of the article "Ontario Highway 21"?
The title is based on a naming convention used for Canadian highways of [Province] (Highway/Route) # - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 01:39, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Fix disambiguation issue with the word "whiteout" according to this
  • Highway 21 is often subject to winter closures due to lake effect caused snowsquall... Add "by" between "caused" and "snowsquall"

Route description

[edit]
  • The route is generally smoothly-flowing, but can be somewhat congested near main towns during the summer from tourists and cottagers. Highway 21 is often subject to closures at various points as it lies on the lee shore of Lake Huron. Lake effect snow squalls frequently subject motorists to poor visibility and slippery conditions, leading to whiteout conditions. Highway 23 provides an alternative inland route. Original research?
Not original, but mostly sourced to a WP:SPS that is no good here. I'll see if I can dig something up to make this workable. - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 01:39, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Major intersections

  • This section of Highway 21 was downloaded in 1997/1998 Downloaded?
The term is explained at its first appearance in the last paragraph of the history section. It is a common term, in Ontario at least, to describe when a higher government dumps the financial responsibility/liability for infrastructure or services onto a lower level of government.

After thoroughly reviewing this article, I have decided to put it on hold at this time. I will give you the general seven days to fix these mistakes and/or address issues you believe do not affect good article status. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Another editor seems to have already addressed the grammatical issues (as well as attempting to address other issues seemingly without experience...). Give me a few days for the traffic and weather part. - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 01:39, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Refs added, should be good to go. Thanks for the review! - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 15:16, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Since all issues have been addressed, I feel confident passing this article. Keep up the good work you are doing! Rp0211 (talk2me) 18:49, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
