There is not much to do, though I see at least one dead source link. 7-day hold to Floydian. Ping me when done. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 20:27, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Copy changes

  • Although the within old Toronto What's the missing word?

  • Hyphenate "much-needed"
  • The city instead opted to construct Oriole Parkway to Eglinton Avenue, and Avenue Road north of it. Remove comma (CinS)
  • The Hogg's Hollow bridge was incorporated in the new freeway, and continues to support the eastbound express lanes. Remove comma (CinS) and should "Bridge" be capitalized for consistency?
  • Metropolitan Toronto continued to sign the route from the Gardiner Expressway to Bombay Avenue, immediately north of the interchange with Highway 401 until the late 1990s. Complete the appositive by adding a comma after "401"

Sourcing and spot checks

[edit]

Earwig does not find any issues.

I could not select randomly due to the heavy use of some offline sources. I have no issues with the sourcing I've identified, though I did catch a dead link.

  • 4 (Filey 2019): Mentions the continued use of the original 1929 bridge for the eastbound express lanes of the 401.
  • 12: Wanted to verify, but the source link is dead. Is this archived?
  • 15: Used for the date of creation of Metro Toronto (April 15, 1953).

Other items

[edit]
  • Three libre-licensed images (one CC and two PD-Canada-crown) with suitable captions. Add alt text.
All changes have been made. Ref#12 has been updated with an archive link, one of the all-too-often cases of government replacing something that wasn't broken with something that is broken. Thank you for the review! Didn't think I was going to gather up the will to do any work on here this week. - Floydian τ ¢ 17:23, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The archived [12] checks out. Will pass. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 22:48, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
